It started like any ordinary morning.
The sun had just begun to rise, the air was cool, and I stepped out onto the balcony the same way I do almost every day. For many people, the balcony is a peaceful place to enjoy fresh air, sip coffee, and start the day calmly.
But that morning turned out very differently.
As I leaned against the railing and looked around, something unusual caught my eye. At first, I thought it was just a crack in the wall. Old buildings often develop small cracks due to weather changes, temperature shifts, or natural settling over time.
But this crack looked different.
Something inside it was moving.
At first, I froze. My mind immediately started imagining the worst possibilities. When something moves inside a wall, it can be unsettling because you don’t know what might be hiding there.
Was it an insect?
A snake?
Some kind of animal trapped inside the structure?
The movement continued, and slowly something began to emerge from the crack.
