A calm Tuesday evening quickly turned into a terrifying weather event when a powerful storm unleashed giant hailstones over a local town, catching residents completely off guard. What started as a normal, quiet night rapidly escalated into one of the most intense hailstorms many locals say they have ever experienced.
According to early reports, the storm arrived with very little warning. Skies darkened quickly, winds picked up, and within minutes, heavy hail began pounding rooftops, cars, and streets with incredible force. Witnesses described the sound as deafening—like rocks being thrown from the sky nonstop.
The sudden weather shift left people scrambling for safety.
Some were driving home when the storm hit, forcing them to pull over under bridges or gas stations. Others were already inside their homes when they heard the first loud impacts against windows and roofs. In just moments, everyday life turned into a rush to protect property and stay safe.
