“Well…” Sara finally said, “I did lend it to my cousin recently. And I’m not sure if she washed it before returning it…”
That was enough to confirm Lina’s suspicion.
What seemed like a simple favor had turned into an uncomfortable and unexpected skin reaction.
Over the next few hours, the irritation became worse. The redness spread slightly, and the itching became harder to ignore. Lina realized she couldn’t just wait it out. She needed to take care of it properly.
She gently cleaned the affected area, avoided scratching, and made sure her skin stayed cool and dry. Gradually, over the next couple of days, the irritation began to settle. The redness faded, the bumps reduced, and her skin slowly returned to normal.
