🟣 Final Thoughts
As I packed up my things and left the beach that day, the purple flag was still flying high in the wind.
The ocean looked peaceful again, as if nothing had happened.
But I had learned something important:
Not all danger is visible.
And sometimes, the most important warnings are the ones we don’t understand at first.
Thanks to that purple flag—and the quick action of lifeguards following safety protocols from organizations like the United States Lifesaving Association—a potential tragedy was avoided.
Now, every time I go to the beach, I look at the flags first.
Because they’re not just decorations.
They’re messages from the ocean itself.
