Finding Peace
Sitting by that lake, holding those letters, I finally understood the man I had once loved.
And in that understanding, something inside me softened.
The anger faded.
The resentment loosened its grip.
And in its place, there was something I hadn’t felt in a long time:
Peace.
Because sometimes, the deepest love isn’t the kind that shouts.
It’s the kind that stays quiet… and never leaves.
